Prime Video is a streaming platform packed with titles from movies and series Perfect for a Saturday night. So, if you’re browsing the main page of your account and still haven’t decided what to watch today, here’s a wonderful tip: the North American action series ‘Reacher’, recommended for ages 16 and up.
Launched on the platform in February of this year, the production was created and written by Nick Santora, and is based on the books by Jack Reacher, written by Lee Child.
The action series tells the story of a former US military police officer named Jack Reacher, played by American actor Alan Ritchson, who is arrested for a murder he did not commit. After being released from prison, he decides to join Oscar Finlay and Roscoe Conklin, played by Malcolm Goodwin and Willa Fitzgerald, respectively, to investigate a conspiracy between politicians, corrupt police officers and businessmen. In addition to the trio, the series still has the following names in its cast: Kristin Kreuk, Mari Sten, Marc Bendavid, Bruce McGill, Leslie Fray, Harvey Guillén, Matthew Marsden, Currie Graham, among other actors.
Since its release, ‘Reacher’ has been well liked by the public and also by specialized critics. On the famous American website, rotten tomatoesan aggregator of film and television reviews, the production has an approval rating of 92%.
The series is available to all subscribers to the Prime Video platform and has, so far, a season of 8 episodes, each lasting approximately 50 minutes. Despite having been renewed for a second season three days after its premiere, there is still no scheduled release date for the sequel.
