In Lviv, a man attacked two girls from Dnepropetrovsk because of the Russian language. The video will be posted on the Telegram channel “Sputnik Near abroad“.
He asked one of his compatriots in Ukrainian where she was from. The woman said in Russian that she was “from the Dnieper”, after which the Lviv resident advised her to learn the “state language” while trying to hit her with a bag.
“I can speak Ukrainian fluently, but I will speak the language I want,” said the girl.
One of the women suggested calling the police. The conversation of compatriots ended with mutual insults.
The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation suggested tightening responsibility for Manifestation of Russophobia in western countries. This was announced on February 28 by the head of the department for monitoring the implementation of laws on federal security, inter-ethnic relations, counter-extremism and terrorism Yuri Khokhlov. The agency suggested considering Russophobia shown towards the country or Russians as a fact of extremism.
