Actress Simone Thomalla (57) is now an indispensable part of the German film industry. At the age of 17, she made her film debut in the GDR TV movie “Abandoned”. She then had her official breakthrough a good ten years later, in 1993, in ZDF’s six-episode mini-series “Transit – The Story of a Company” as apprentice Monika Helmholtz.
This was followed by a wide variety of roles in numerous films and series. Even though Simone was a successful actress for a long time, her fame increased even further when she played Inspector Eva Saalfeld from 2008 to 2015 at the “Tatort” in Leipzig. And even today, the 57-year-old is still performing very well. Simone has been the main actress of the ZDF series “Frühling” since 2011. But what very few people know: Simone Thomalla was also on stage as a background singer in the GDR pop group “Jessica” in her twenties.
In the video above, we show you Simone Thomalla’s outward transformation into a successful actress.
Simone Thomalla talks about her type of man
Even if Simone could not do better professionally, the mother of Sophia Thomalla (33 years old) does not seem so lucky in love. In 2021, the 57-year-old separated from handball professional Silvio Heinevetter (38) after twelve years together. In the summer of last year, she went public with her relationship with Berlin DJ Nicolino Hermano. But their love did not last long: Simone’s management announced the end of love a few days ago.
In the Magenta TV format “Verona Pooth – More Than Talk”, Simone recently chatted with Verona Pooth (54) about her choice of men and the qualities she looks for in a partner: “I need guys by my side. I can do anything but boring.”
