The casting show “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” has been back on television screens since the beginning of the year. But the format shines more with numerous scandals than with good candidates. At first, juror Dieter Bohlen (69) attracted attention with misogynistic and denunciatory words, later his jury colleague Katja Krasavice (26) publicly railed against him. From now on, the drama takes on unprecedented proportions.
How “picture.de“reported, contestant Marvin Jung was one of the favorites on the casting show. But his appearance has already been cut – the reason is unusual: Marvin doesn’t want to appear on live shows. ” Bild.de ” quotes a production employee: “Marvin has plans Recently decided not to sign the contract for the live shows. For personal reasons, as he no longer felt comfortable with DSDS. He couldn’t identify with the concept. He then informed the production.”
DSDS candidates find the procedure strange – RTL is doing diplomacy in the meantime
The procedure also seems strange to the candidates, as one of the participants explained: “The announcement came that we were no longer allowed to establish contact with him and that we should not discuss him any more. We have first assumed it was a bad incident.”
In the meantime, RTL is diplomatic: “Direct DSDS only start in April. There is still enough time to settle personal differences.”
